I am a counselling psychologist located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and have experience as a psychologist in a variety of mental health settings. The human experience involves challenges, but our inner strengths are our best apparatus to cope with these challenges. I view psychotherapy as a process that helps get us in touch with our natural resilience and tendency towards self-actualization and growth. Via this self-actualization and growth, psychological healing can occur. I offer individual and couples therapy to people in the Edmonton Area.
I view my role as a psychologist as a collaborative one that enables the human potential to gain conscious control over our lives. Creating an environment of safety and security is necessary for this change to be explored and to occur. I have awareness and sensitivity to this and realize that these changes occur within many different contexts including family, cultural, social, and occupational.
I am available to assist in meeting your psychological goals and have successful clinical experience applying multiple evidenced based approaches with a wide range of people for a wide range of issues. I will help you increase your self-awareness, and feel better about yourself. Call or e-mail to discuss how I can help you.
